Wall World launched on April 5, 2023 and received one paid story expansion — Deep Threat — on August 9, 2023, which added 9 new biomes, 4 story tiers, new enemies, weapons, and abilities. Both DLC entries in the store (the expansion and the soundtrack) are released with no unreleased items remaining. Since the Deep Threat expansion, the developer's communications on the Wall World page have shifted entirely toward promoting new and separate Alawar titles: Wall World 2 (a full sequel that launched November 11, 2025), Wall World Strategy (a separate colony-sim spinoff currently in demo/playtest as of June 2026), and other unrelated games. None of these posts announce additional content for the original Wall World. The original game has received no content updates, patches, or developer communications specific to it since August 2023. The sequel's existence further reinforces that the original Wall World is a complete, standalone product. Both DLC are released, no unreleased content is listed, and the developer has not signaled any intention to return to the original game with new content.

About this game

Welcome to the Wall World, a mining rogue-lite with tower defense elements. Explore procedurally generated mines and discover fantastical biomes. Find resources and technologies for purchasing valuable upgrades. Fight off hordes of aggressive monsters using your mobile base. Roam the Wall freely day and night, in various weather conditions. Find traces of "the others" and boldly mine where no man has mined before.

Mine

Burrow deep into the Wall in different places. Look for resources and technologies for upgrades, discover new biomes in the mines — but don't forget to return to your robospider in time for the next monster attack.

Fight

Shoot and hack at the nightmarish creatures with a variety of weapons, from simple machine guns to homing missiles. Increase your chances of survival by breaking camp instantly and continuing the fight on the go.

Upgrade

Modernize your exosuit with resources and technologies you find to move faster in mines and break through ever harder rocks. Upgrade your robospider's combat stats to deal with the increasingly dangerous enemies that await you on the endless Wall.

Build

Build automatic turrets, repair stations and resource harvesters and upgrade buildings to maximize your chances of success. But first you'll have to find the blueprints in the depths of the Wall.
