Warlords Battleground: Extraction launched on March 8, 2026 and has been actively and consistently expanded by its solo developer. Three major content updates have shipped post-launch: The Battle of Xiangfan on April 20, 2026 (new campaign, companion Guan Yinping, Peace Mode, stronghold overhaul), a new high-risk gameplay map with CG content on June 8, 2026, and The Battle of Yiling on September 14, 2026 (new battlefield, new companion Tuya, new skills, new loot mechanic). This establishes a sustained cadence of roughly one major content drop every 1–3 months. The July 29, 2026 developer post explicitly confirmed that "new content/new maps are currently in development," and the Battle of Yiling update that followed on September 14, 2026 demonstrates that promise was fulfilled — and given the overall pattern, it is reasonable to expect further content ahead. The developer has maintained consistent communication throughout, with the most recent post dated September 14, 2026. No announcement of content completion or a development wind-down has been made.
