Evaluation

Water Delivery launched on September 18, 2024 as a self-contained first-person horror experience. Following launch, the developer released several hotfixes and then a substantial v1.1 update on January 10, 2025, which added language support, upgraded the game engine, and improved performance and AI pathing. There is no indication of planned DLC, expansions, or additional story content for Water Delivery. Crucially, in a January 24, 2025 announcement, Frozen Lake Software explicitly stated that development on Water Delivery is complete and that their studio has moved on to their next game, Den-Den: Tokyo Horror. They wrote: "Once we finished development on Water Delivery, we knew it was time to go back to our roots..." The v1.1 update post from January 10, 2025 similarly frames the update as something done "as we continue to develop our next upcoming game," reinforcing that Water Delivery is no longer in active development. All subsequent developer news posts (including updates from March and September 2025) concern Den-Den: Tokyo Horror exclusively. Water Delivery shipped as a complete, self-contained horror experience with a defined ending and multiple branching outcomes. No DLC, season pass, or post-launch content expansions have ever been announced for it. The game is done.
Evidence
Developer announces Den-Den: Tokyo Horror as their next game, explicitly stating 'Once we finished development on Water Delivery, we knew it was time to go back to our roots.' This is a direct confirmation that Water Delivery development is complete.
