Watermelon Game

Watermelon Game launched on November 7, 2023 as a casual physics puzzle game. In the weeks following launch, the developer shipped a series of updates: achievements on launch day (November 7), a leaderboard on November 13, initial mouse input support on November 18, and then a substantial multiplayer update on December 5, 2023 — the game's only major content release. That December 5 post added online multiplayer with lobby support, a new fruit type ("Stone Fruit"), full mouse control, and several quality-of-life improvements. The developer acknowledged the update took longer than expected and promised to release smaller updates more regularly going forward. However, since December 5, 2023, there have been no further news posts, patches, or developer communications of any kind. The entire post-launch update cycle — achievements, leaderboard, full mouse support, multiplayer — was completed within the first month of release, and no further content has been announced or hinted at. With over two and a half years of silence following what appears to have been the game's final planned feature addition, the game is best understood as a complete, finished product.
