We Are Lost

We Are Lost (Part I) reached its final update and full release on March 21, 2025. In a release post that day, the developer explicitly stated this was "the final update to We Are Lost," marking the completion of Part I. The story behind this decision was explained in a February 28, 2025 developer post: the full vision for the game — four branching story paths, multiple protagonist romances, and a corporate conspiracy storyline — was too large to complete in a single game, so the developer chose to split it into two parts rather than rush the content. Development shifted immediately to We Are Lost II, a direct sequel that picks up the story where Part I left off and will continue the four branching paths. The developer has been actively posting devlogs about Part II since then, with updates in November 2025 and April 2026 detailing progress on the Corruption and Love routes. On May 12, 2026, the developer announced that the Steam store page for We Are Lost II has been approved and that it will launch "pretty soon." For players who want the complete story, We Are Lost II is the continuation — choices made in Part I will carry over. Part I itself is a complete, self-contained release with no further updates planned.
