Weed Farmer Simulator has been in Early Access since March 16, 2020. The developer — a solo indie developer — was active through late 2020, shipping a series of feature patches and updates, most notably a major Update 2.0 on October 4, 2020, followed by two additional patches through November 6, 2020.
The store description continues to advertise features marked as "coming soon" — specifically a Creative Mode with unlimited resources and a Multiplayer mode — neither of which has been delivered. These represent unmet commitments that remain publicly visible on the store page.
The last developer communication of any kind was on November 6, 2020. Since that date — now more than five and a half years ago — there have been no patch notes, developer blog posts, announcements, or any other official communication. The developer noted in a May 2020 post that they were balancing game development with full-time work at another company and had been impacted by COVID-19, but no subsequent statement has addressed the status of development.
The game remains purchasable on Steam and is still marked as Early Access. However, given the complete absence of developer communication since November 6, 2020, and the outstanding "coming soon" promises still displayed on the store page, it is unclear whether development is still ongoing.

In this farming simulator, you need to get your hands dirty!
In the beginning, you start with nothing, you will need to plant every seed with your bare hands. Need some stick to make a fenced planting area? You need to chop down some trees. You'd like to water your plants? you need to fill your watering can with water first!
As time goes on and you make enough money, you can buy vehicles and tools to make your life easier, a tractor can be a great way to make a plantable area fast, but you can choose to make your farm without any tools or vehicles, in this game it's all on you!
