Wendigo Blue

Wendigo Blue is an actively developed Early Access brawler set in the Valdis Story universe, released on January 27, 2025. The developer has maintained a very consistent update cadence since launch, shipping major content updates roughly every 4–8 weeks. On December 10, 2025, the developer published a detailed roadmap listing upcoming content: a second invasion (Bellthur Constructs), multiple new player characters, new stages, and a third invasion — with several items still marked with "???" for timing. That roadmap has since seen several of its items fulfilled: the Bellthur Constructs invasion arrived in January 2026 (version 0.09), new player character Fajra launched in March 2026 (version 0.095), and a new final stage for Invasion mode shipped in June 2026 (version 0.100). The most recent developer post, from June 17, 2026, explicitly states: "I'll be working on some new enemies and unlockables for the next update," confirming that development is actively continuing. This is reinforced by a hotfix posted the very next day (June 18, 2026), demonstrating the developer remains closely engaged with the game. The December 2025 roadmap still has several unfulfilled items — additional unnamed player characters, more stages, and the third invasion — none of which have shipped as of today (August 19, 2026). Substantial planned content remains ahead, and the developer has given no indication that development is wrapping up.
