What The Dub?!

What The Dub?! launched on April 8, 2021 and received a solid post-launch update run through late 2023. The developer shipped three major content drops: Patch 1.5 on December 22, 2021 (100 new clips), Patch 2.0 on December 7, 2022 (125 new clips plus new features), and Patch 2.2 on December 15, 2023 (60 new clips). These major updates came roughly 12 months apart, following a consistent December release cadence. Steam Workshop support was added in October 2023, giving players a way to create and share their own custom clip packs — effectively extending the content pool community-side. The final developer update was a small Steam Workshop patch on December 24, 2023. No updates of any kind have been posted since then. There are no unreleased DLC listings, no announced future content, and no developer roadmap pointing to upcoming additions. The developer's attention appears to have shifted — as early as March 2022 they announced a new title, RiffTrax: The Game, which launched in May 2022. With the addition of Steam Workshop providing ongoing community-generated content and no further official content updates since December 2023, the game appears to have reached the end of its official development cycle. It shipped as a polished party game and has been content-complete since its last update.
