Winning Love by Daylight (Episode 1 Demo) is a free visual novel that graduated out of Early Access on September 7, 2021, marking the completion of Episode 1 with 55,000 words of content, all eight characters fully implemented, and 30 milestones/achievements. The developer then released Episode 2 as a separate paid product on Steam (App ID 1799180) on November 8, 2021. On July 10, 2022, the developer posted a "FINAL UPDATE" notice for this demo, explicitly stating it was a final quality-of-life patch with no new playable content. That post confirms this particular product — the Episode 1 Demo — is complete and will receive no further updates. The developer directed players interested in continuing the story to the separate Episode 1+2 release and the upcoming Episode 3. This product is a self-contained, finished demo and the developer has clearly stated its development is over.

About this game

Winning Love by Daylight puts you directly amongst the action as a High School student who slowly uncovers the secret that several of their classmates are actually magical girl super heroes! Get to know each of them better as you hang out with them after school, or sit with them at lunch, or complete school work together. An ominous skeletal villain has discovered that super heroes attend the school and threatens to out any one that isn't an ordinary student, and you are stuck between the villain and the super heroes as you become friends!
