Wise Guys entered Early Access on February 9, 2026, with solo developer Stonie committing to shaping the game over the next 12 months and beyond. Development has been consistently active ever since. The first major update — the High Heels Update — shipped on June 3, 2026, adding a new map, new game mode (Sandbox), new role (The FED), expanded player count up to 12, and host customization options. Feature patches followed on June 20 and July 13, 2026, adding weapons, a new spectator camera, and additional bug fixes. On July 18, 2026, the developer published a detailed roadmap for the second major update, called "Dirty Deeds." This announcement marks the game officially entering Alpha, with the developer describing Alpha as the point where core mechanics and features are now locked in. Planned content explicitly described for the Dirty Deeds update includes: a Boss Overhaul with a new Sit-Down mechanic and Boss Instinct ability; a full Melee Overhaul with new animations, blocking, and stamina systems; a brand-new RICO map; a new 8v8 Gang Wars game mode; 20+ new achievements; additional host options; and localization into multiple languages. The developer states their focus from here will be bug fixing, optimization, progression systems, polish, and "completing the remaining planned content" on the path toward Beta and Version 1.0. On August 4, 2026, the developer pushed a minor bug fix patch while work on the Dirty Deeds update continues. This is the most recent developer communication as of today, September 17, 2026. The game has a clear, active roadmap with substantial content explicitly announced and in development.

The Boss is furious! A Rat in his crew tipped off the Feds and he is demanding blood. Now every pair of eyes in the room is looking for someone to blame and NO ONE is safe! As trust erodes and chaos erupts, the accusations fly and a split second decision could save you... or get you killed.

Expose the Rat and The Boss MIGHT spare your life. BUT... choose the wrong guy, trust the wrong voice, OR believe the wrong story and the Rat walks free... while you're left holding the body bags.

BRUTAL MELEE COMBAT!

Punch, kick, stomp or grab whatever object happens to be laying around with an arsenal of melee weapons to choose from.

PHYSICS BASED TASKS!

Sweep the building for bugs, load duffle bags with cash, guns, and drugs and get them to the van before the Feds kick the door in. One mistake and the whole operation can collapse.

THE BOSS -

You're the top dog. Feared, obeyed, respected. You call the shots. Who lives, who dies, that's your business. But rage and betrayal can cloud even the sharpest of minds and you need to reclaim control fast. Pull the trigger, make the call and hope it's the right one because at the top, power is everything... until it's gone.

Wise Guy -

You're the muscles, the underdog, the backbone of this criminal organization, stashing contraband as the room spirals into chaos. Paranoia is a loaded gun and you have no rank to protect you, no glory to hide behind, and no power. Just bruised knuckles and the hard truth that one wrong move and you're suddenly the fall guy.

Rat -

You're the Rat. Sneaky, ruthless, manipulative. You move in plain sight and sow doubt with every step. While you're sabotaging, stealing contraband and bleeding the timer dry beware of triggering panic mode. Pass the blame and frame a fool... but get caught and you will be exposed for what you truly are.

FED -

You're not one of them. You're undercover, surrounded and outnumbered, but you signed up for this.
Gather evidence and build your case. Nobody knows you're the most dangerous in the room. But watch your back because if you get exposed, no one is coming to save you.
