Witching Tower VR launched on October 25, 2018. Following launch, Daily Magic Productions released a series of patches and updates: a Halloween patch on October 31, 2018; a Christmas optimization patch on December 19, 2018; localization additions and bug fixes in January 2019; and a major overhaul on March 14, 2019 that the developer explicitly described as "the last updated version of Witching Tower," featuring an improved combat system and locomotion. A hotfix for a ladder bug was issued on March 26, 2019. After that, the only communication was a first-anniversary post on October 27, 2019, which announced a birthday discount and French localization but contained no mention of further development plans or new content. There have been no developer communications of any kind since October 27, 2019 — over six years ago. The developer's own statement on March 14, 2019 that this was the "last updated version" of the game, combined with the complete silence since late 2019, indicates the game reached its finished state. No DLC was ever listed, no roadmap was ever published, and no future content was ever announced.
