Wizard with a Gun launched on October 17, 2023 and received a series of post-launch content updates from Galvanic Games. Shortly after launch, the developer stated on October 25, 2023 that they had "a lot more planned" and directed players to a roadmap — signaling early-stage post-launch development was actively underway. The game received two major free content updates: "Bounty of Guns" on March 7, 2024 (adding over 50 new guns, new enemy types, bounty hunting systems, mini-bosses, and surprise events) and "Better Together" on May 13, 2024 (expanding multiplayer to 4 players, adding difficulty modes, new lore, libraries, and updated endgame content including a secret ending). A paid cosmetic DLC, the Bounty Hunter Pack, also shipped alongside the March update on March 7, 2024. The "Better Together" update appears to represent the conclusion of the post-launch content roadmap the developer referenced in October 2023. It delivered the 4-player co-op feature that had been in beta testing, updated the endgame with a secret ending, and added a full lore system — rounding out the game's major systems. All four DLC items in the store are released, with no unreleased entries remaining. Since the "Better Together" update launched on May 13, 2024, there have been no further developer announcements of new content, no new DLC listings, and no roadmap for additional updates.
