Worshippers of Cthulhu launched into 1.0 on May 22, 2025, graduating from Early Access. The developer, Crazy Goat Games, has maintained an active post-launch update cadence. A paid DLC — the Event Pack (41 narrative events) — shipped on September 26, 2025. Free major content updates have also continued: the "Emblems of His Power" update arrived on April 9, 2026, adding 17 new decorative elements. Additionally, the game expanded to Xbox Series X|S on March 27, 2026, signaling continued investment in the product. All three currently listed DLC items are released, and no unreleased DLC appears on the store. The developer has not announced any specific future content, but they have also made no statement indicating that post-launch development has concluded.
