Evaluation
Yacht Dice launched on September 30, 2021 and has been steadily maintained by GoodOldMan Studio ever since. The developer shipped two notable content updates early in the game's life — single-player AI mode in December 2021 and the Version 2.0 overhaul in June 2022, which added 2–4 player multiplayer and team mode. Since then, the developer has continued to release feature patches on a regular basis, most recently updating the dice model, adding 165fps support, improving physics, and adding game statistics in August–September 2025. The most recent developer communication was on September 17, 2025.
There are no unreleased DLC listings, no announced upcoming content, and no developer statement pointing to a specific future expansion. The game appears to be a small, self-contained casual title that the developer continues to polish and maintain. The two major content additions both shipped years ago, and recent activity consists of quality-of-life improvements rather than new features or expansions. No roadmap or future content commitments have been made. The game functions as a complete product as it stands.

About this game
Yacht Dice is a classic dice game popular around the world, each player by throwing dice statistics score to carry on the game, the player with the highest score wins.
The Yacht Dice scorecard contains 12 different category boxes and in each round, after the third roll, the player must choose one of these categories. The score entered in the box depends on how well the five dice match the scoring rule for the category. Details of the scoring rules for each category are given below. As an example, one of the categories is called Three of a Kind. The scoring rule for this category means that a player only scores if at least three of the five dice are the same value. The game is completed after 12 rounds by each player, with each of the 12 boxes filled. The total score is calculated by summing all thirteen boxes, together with any bonuses.
