Ynglet launched on June 5, 2021 and has received two notable free content updates post-launch. The first arrived on August 10, 2022, adding a new Bonus World with 19 levels, new mechanics, a secret minigame, and other improvements. The second arrived on October 17, 2024, adding new special challenge levels and new atmospheric music — this update was announced on October 5, 2024 and delivered as promised. A significant development milestone also occurred in May 2024: Akupara Games announced it had taken over as the game's new publisher, stating the team "loved" the game and was glad to support it. That publisher relationship appears to have directly led to the October 2024 content drop, which was revealed during Akupara Games' 8th anniversary livestream. Since the October 17, 2024 content update, there have been no further announcements or communications about additional content. The two major updates across roughly two years do not establish a tight or predictable release cadence, and neither the developer nor publisher has announced any further content plans. The October 2024 update appears to represent the current final state of the game's content. No DLC is listed as unreleased on the store.
