Your Mother launched on February 28, 2025 and has received a steady and sustained stream of major content updates since release. The developer has shipped six major updates across the game's lifetime: a Mother's Day Big Game Update on May 4, 2025; a Summer Update on June 18, 2025 (adding a new Summer Mother character and expanded Steam Workshop support); a Lunar New Year Update on January 30, 2026; an Anniversary/Mother's Day Update on May 2, 2026 (new outfit, game settings, and a new bundle); a Summer Update on June 16, 2026 (water gun fight mini-game); and most recently a Back to School update on September 6, 2026 (teacher mother outfit, typing counter, and a new automated card drop system).
