Zipp's Café

Zipp's Café launched on November 15, 2023 as a self-described "bite-sized" and "short story" game — intentionally designed as a complete, contained experience from day one. The developer described it at launch as a short narrative with two endings and discoverable extras, explicitly framing it as an introduction to the broader Wilderness universe rather than a game that would grow with ongoing content updates. After launch, the developer shipped two quick bug-fix hotfixes in November 2023 to address post-launch issues. On March 11, 2024, they released what they called their "biggest (and hopefully last) update," a comprehensive patch fixing nearly 100 bugs and improving compatibility across platforms. That language — "hopefully last update" — signals the developer considered the game's post-launch maintenance cycle to be complete at that point. Since March 2024, all developer communications from The Wild Gentlemen have been focused on their other Wilderness universe titles: Chicken Police: Into the HIVE! (released November 2024) and Moses & Plato: Last Train to Clawville (announced for April 14, 2026). There is no DLC, no season pass, no unreleased content, and no developer statement suggesting any further additions to Zipp's Café itself. The store description frames the game as a precursor to these other titles rather than a platform for ongoing updates. The game shipped as a complete product, received its maintenance cycle, and the developer has moved on to other projects in the same universe.
