Zompiercer is a solo-developed Early Access survival game that has been in continuous, active development since its April 2020 release. The developer — a single person operating under DDDimanN — has shipped at least 7 major content updates and dozens of smaller patches throughout the game's history, with the most recent major update (Update 21.0, the farming and cooking overhaul) landing on May 9, 2026, followed by several refinement patches through June 5, 2026. When releasing Update 20.0 on February 19, 2026, the developer explicitly laid out a two-update roadmap: Update 21 (farming and cooking — now shipped) and Update 22 (hunting, with animals that players can hunt for meat and hides, most of which will be dangerous predators).
