Evaluation
Zup! 6 is a compact casual puzzle game that launched on September 19, 2017, with its only DLC — the official soundtrack — releasing ten days later on September 29, 2017. There have been no updates, patches, or new content for this specific title since that time. The developer, Quiet River, is clearly still active, regularly releasing entirely new games (including later Zup! franchise entries such as Zup! Z, Zup! F, and Zup! Y, as well as unrelated titles like OxU and CubeOS), but none of that work relates to Zup! 6 itself. Zup! 6 is a standalone, numbered entry in a series where each installment is its own self-contained product. Notably, the developer announced Zup! F in December 2019 as "the Final part of the franchise," though they later continued with additional entries under different naming conventions. All content for Zup! 6 — its 60+ levels and OST DLC — shipped at or immediately after launch, and the game is complete as originally delivered.
