Evaluation
1 Screen Platformer: Prologue is a free demo/prologue title that launched on July 16, 2020. The developer posted two feature patches in the weeks following launch (July 23 and August 1, 2020), addressing gameplay feel, bugs, and quality-of-life improvements. Both posts describe small, polish-focused changes typical of a game wrapping up its initial release window. There have been no developer communications since August 1, 2020 — nearly six years of silence. The game is explicitly positioned as a free prologue designed to prepare players for the main 1 Screen Platformer series, not as a standalone game receiving ongoing content. No DLC has been listed, no roadmap or future content has been announced, and no unreleased content exists on the store. The game launched as a self-contained, complete experience and all post-launch activity was limited to polish patches in the first two weeks.
Evidence
Described as a free demo featuring 1 playable character and 1 complete level — a self-contained prologue experience, not an ongoing content release.
Second and final post-launch patch added an intro cutscene and additional bug fixes. This is the last recorded developer communication.

About this game
This game will prepare you for the other main line 1 Screen Platformer series. You will practice, learn, and improve so that you can take on the real challenge of these precision platformers.
After stealing the skull of an elder god in 1 Screen Platformer, Nadia Stormhammer returns to her orbiting space craft. The craft is empty. Self defense systems are on high alert. Something is not right.
Get from the teleportation room to the bridge in time to diagnose the problem, regroup with the crew, and get home.
The first entry of 1 Screen Platformer was 960 x 540px in size
1 Screen Platformer 2 is 1920x1080px
If you are doing the math, you will know that it is an extra 1,555,200 pixels for you to explore. That is a good deal if you ask me.
You new to speedrunning and looking for a smaller game to practice your craft? 1 Screen Platformer is great for that. There are many ways to compete and run times are less than 30 minutes.
The game also features leaderboards to keep track of your times.
