Evaluation

100 Asian Cats launched on December 17, 2023 as a free-to-play hidden object game. All eight DLC items — including extra content, a soundtrack, an artbook, and donation tiers — were released on the same day as the game itself. On February 8, 2025, the developer shipped a v2.0 update that added colored artwork to both levels, along with minor bug fixes and menu improvements. This is the most recent developer communication and the last substantive change to the game. The news posts tagged as "major content" after launch are actually announcements for separate games in the developer's broader catalog (100 Robo Cats, 100 Capitalist Cats, 100 New Year Cats), not new content for this title. No future content has been announced for 100 Asian Cats, no unreleased DLC exists, and the developer has not indicated any further updates are planned. The v2.0 update on February 8, 2025 represents the final polish pass on the game's content.

Evidence

v2.0 update added colored artwork to both levels, minor bug fixes, and menu rework. This is the most recent developer communication for this game.
