Cats and Seek: Kyoto

Cats and Seek: Kyoto launched on June 16, 2024 as a free-to-play hidden-object game. Its only DLC — the Kyoto Extra Level & Jigsaw pack — shipped the very next day on June 17, 2024, completing the game's content offering. There are no unreleased DLC entries on the store and no developer announcements of any future Kyoto-specific content. Developer Noobzilla has remained consistently active and communicative through mid-2026, but all of their posts focus entirely on other projects: Cats and Seek: Zoo (announced September 2025, demo released January 31, 2026, with a full launch rescheduled to late August 2026 after a build issue); Pictective and Pictective 2 (the latter released April 10, 2026); Cats Around Us: Black Cat; Cats Around Us: Yarn Ball; and the newly scouted Cats and Seek: Kobe. The April 2025 launch post for Cats and Seek: Tokyo explicitly described the Japan trilogy (Osaka, Kyoto, Tokyo) as complete, with no mention of returning to Kyoto. None of the developer's communications since launch reference any planned additions to Cats and Seek: Kyoto. The game launched as a self-contained experience — one base level with 100 hidden cats plus the Extra Level DLC — and reached its finished state on June 17, 2024.
