12 is Better Than 6 launched on November 20, 2015 and received post-launch content in two waves. The first major addition was the Endless Arena mode, which went live on December 16, 2015. A substantial feature update followed in June 2016 adding a new Purgatorium mode, additional arena levels, and OS X support. The game's only paid expansion, "The Apostles," was announced in October 2017 and released on December 6, 2017 — the last piece of new content ever shipped for the game.
Since December 2017, there have been no further content updates, no new DLC announcements, and no roadmap or developer statement indicating anything more is planned. Both DLC entries listed on the store are fully released. The two news posts from 2024 and 2025 are publisher-wide promotional posts (a summer sale and a 10th anniversary giveaway tied to the announcement of an entirely different game, Police Stories 2) — neither contains any hint of new content for 12 is Better Than 6. The November 2025 post explicitly frames the 10th anniversary as a retrospective celebration rather than a lead-in to new content, and the developer has been silent on any future additions for well over seven years.
The game launched as a complete, finite product and received its final content with The Apostles expansion on December 6, 2017. It is a finished game.
