A Little to the Left launched on November 8, 2022 and received two paid DLC expansions — Cupboards & Drawers on June 27, 2023 and Seeing Stars on June 25, 2024 — along with regular free updates throughout its lifespan. On June 23, 2025, developer Max Inferno announced that a free "Packed Update" arriving June 26, 2025 would be "the final update for A Little to the Left." The update itself, released June 26, 2025, confirmed this explicitly: "Today's Packed Update neatly brings active development on the game to an end." Both DLC entries are fully released, and no further content has been announced. A subsequent bug-fix patch on August 6, 2025 and another on March 4, 2026 addressed minor issues introduced by the Packed Update, which is consistent with routine post-launch maintenance rather than new content development. Separately, a November 21, 2025 post announced that Max Inferno has grown its team and is working on future projects — reinforcing that the studio has moved on from this title. The game is complete as of June 26, 2025.
