A Virus Named TOM launched on August 1, 2012 as a complete puzzle-action game with over 100 levels across single-player, co-op, and battle modes. The developer shipped two pieces of DLC: a soundtrack (August 1, 2012) and a free Winter Wonderland holiday content pack (December 20, 2012). Both are fully released, and no further DLC has been announced or listed on the store.
After the Winter Wonderland release, post-launch activity for this game effectively ceased. The only notable AVNT-specific update in recent years was a December 2025 note confirming the game received Steam Deck verification — a compatibility update, not new content. Misfits Attic has since moved on to developing other titles, most recently launching Below the Crown in Early Access in November 2025 and announcing a sequel to their game Duskers in June 2026.
The developer has not announced any future content for A Virus Named TOM. The game shipped as a complete product and received one small free holiday DLC pack shortly after launch. It has been content-complete since December 2012.
