Aces & Adventures launched on February 23, 2023 and had an active post-launch development period that ran through mid-2023. The developer published a roadmap on March 14, 2023 outlining several planned features including a Deck Manager mode, Daily Challenges, new abilities, and a Steam Workshop deck-sharing feature. They then delivered on several of these commitments in quick succession: the free "Luck of the Paw" cosmetic DLC released on April 14, 2023; the Invernal Spiral deck-manager mode launched on April 17, 2023; the Invernal difficulty update added new encounters in May 2023; and the Challenge Mode with Daily Leaderboards shipped on June 15, 2023. The June 15, 2023 Challenge Mode update was the last developer communication of any kind across the 27 posts scanned. That is nearly three years of silence as of today (June 22, 2026). The March 2023 roadmap also mentioned features not yet delivered — specifically Steam Workshop deck sharing and handcrafted challenges — but the April 17, 2023 Invernal Spiral announcement noted "we're not done" and referenced more content coming soon. However, those promises were made in early-to-mid 2023, and with no developer communication since June 15, 2023, the evidence strongly suggests that active development has concluded. The roadmap items that were not explicitly shipped (deck sharing, handcrafted challenges) were low-priority items listed as "not yet under development" at the time of the March roadmap, and the developer's complete silence for nearly three years indicates these features were quietly dropped rather than still being worked on. The game has one released DLC (Luck of the Paw) with no unreleased DLC on the store. There is no live-service structure, no announced future content, and no sustained update cadence that would indicate ongoing development. The game launched as a complete product and received a meaningful burst of post-launch content in its first four months before going quiet.
