Act of War: Direct Action is a real-time strategy game that originally released in 2005 and arrived on Steam on March 12, 2008. It launched as a complete, standalone product with no post-launch content cycle. The only developer activity on record consists of two posts from May–June 2015, both related to a compatibility patch (version 1.06.3) that brought the Steam version up to parity with the final disc release and extended support to Windows 7 and 8.1. That patch was a maintenance update, not new content. There has been no developer communication since June 1, 2015, no DLC was ever released, and no future content was ever announced. The game shipped as a finished product and has remained so.
Evidence
Atari updated the game to version 1.06.3 for compatibility with modern operating systems (Windows 7 and 8.1), bringing the Steam version to parity with the final disc release. This is the last official developer communication on record.
