Evaluation
Act of War: High Treason launched on March 12, 2008 as a standalone expansion to Act of War: Direct Action. The store description presents a complete, self-contained package — a full single-player campaign, multiplayer maps and modes, and a slate of new units and features — with no mention of planned post-launch content or any ongoing content cycle.
The only post-launch developer activity on record consists of a compatibility patch released on June 1, 2015, which updated the game to run on Windows 7 and Windows 8.1. This was a maintenance update, not new content. The last official communication from the developer was that same June 1, 2015 post. There have been no announcements, roadmaps, or content updates since then.
No DLC is listed for the game, and no developer statement has ever indicated plans for additional content. The game shipped as a complete product and has received no content expansions. Anyone waiting to play the "finished" version of this game has been able to do so since its 2008 release date.
