Ad Fundum launched on Steam on June 13, 2024 and received a healthy run of post-launch updates. The developer shipped Update 1.1.0 (June 28, 2024) with Steam Deck support, Update 1.1.2 (August 19, 2024) with new features and balance changes, and then the major New Game+ update (1.2.0) on December 19, 2024. On February 6, 2025, the developer explicitly announced that Update 1.2.1 would be "the final major update for the game," stating they needed to move on to other projects. That post confirmed that only minor hotfixes might follow if critical bugs were reported — no further content was planned.
A subsequent patch (1.2.2, August 11, 2025) did arrive, but it was a localization addition (Turkish) and bug fixes — not new content — and the developer framed it as an unexpected extra, not a change in the game's completion status.
The developer also announced and delivered console releases on PlayStation and Xbox (November 7, 2025) and Nintendo Switch (November 21, 2025), fulfilling the platform expansion teased at the end of the final update post. These were ports of the completed game, not new content additions.
The developer's February 6, 2025 statement is a clear and explicit declaration that content development for Ad Fundum is finished. The game is complete as of that date.

Take control of a colossal mech, capable of drilling through hundreds of meters of rock in a matter of seconds. Collect valuable resources, then fly back to your base to sell minerals for immense profit. Keep a close eye on your control panel: in a dangerous environment, your mech may overheat or overcool, and, most importantly, it doesn’t run on air – it needs fuel to operate. And beware of falling stones - your machine's hull won't withstand too much damage.
