Adventure Climb VR launched as a free-to-play game on April 16, 2019. The developer, MXTreality, supported it with patches and eventually shipped a major overhaul (Version 2.0) on July 16, 2022, followed by the "Brave the Elements" paid DLC expansion on July 18, 2022 — adding five new climbing levels. A follow-up content update on August 31, 2022 added the Golden Route Challenge, a community event with hidden collectibles and prizes hidden within the existing DLC levels. That is the last substantive content post on record. The store listing has one DLC, "Brave the Elements Expansion Maps," which is fully released. No unreleased DLC is listed on the store. The store description references the DLC as the game's expansion and describes the current content set without hinting at future additions. The developer's last communication of any kind was on August 31, 2022. There has been no developer post since that date — nearly four years of silence as of June 2026. The game's update history shows two bursts of activity: a small patch in early 2020, then a concentrated period of updates in July–August 2022 surrounding the DLC launch. About this game

AdventureClimbVR (#ACVR) is a room-scale climbing experience for anyone of any age. Achieve triumph by getting to the top in as quick a time as possible.

Designed by actual rock climbers, designed to thrill, and offers the views that typically are only offered to the very few brave enough to climb to ridiculous heights.

After much great feedback, we decided in July 2022 to build an expansion that incorporates your requests for enhancements, new levels, and extra features, welcome to our DLC.

Don't worry, we've kept the first level free, but now you have the option to upgrade to our DLC and play 5 additional levels.

Race to the top, beat your friend's time, explore the various Easter Eggs, avoid the hazards, and find SECRET Locations... the choice of how you play is up to you!

The Background

As climbers, we originally built this game to explore different locomotion ways that we felt were lacking in other VR climbing experiences. After trialing at a real climbing competition, we decided to push a free demo one-level version on Steam in 2019.
