AffordaGolf Online launched on December 22, 2016 and received a busy period of updates through 2017. The developer shipped six major content drops during that period, including a large v1.22 patch (December 28, 2016), Steam Matchmaking and Workshop support (January 3, 2017), new map modules and physics improvements (June 2017), the Steam P2P system (July 20, 2017), and various feature patches. The developer also released the full game source code as a DLC on September 26, 2017 — a move that strongly suggests the developer considered the project largely complete and was opening it up to the community. The last recorded developer communication was a small bug-fix patch on December 31, 2017. There have been no developer posts, patches, announcements, or any other official communications since that date — now more than eight years ago. Both DLC items are released, no unreleased DLC exists in the store listing, and the developer made no statements about future content plans after the December 2017 patch. The August 2017 "Future" post stated the developer would continue fixing bugs and adding community suggestions, but that intent was never followed through with any post-2017 communication. The game appears to have launched as a feature-complete product that received active support through its first year, then quietly concluded development. The release of the source code DLC in September 2017 and the absence of any communication since December 31, 2017 together indicate development has ended.
