Evaluation

Golf With Your Friends launched on May 19, 2020 and received a substantial run of post-launch content: new courses, cosmetic packs, and major game modes such as Speed Golf (April 2024) and the Olympus Odyssey course (September 5, 2024). The most recent DLC — the Soaring Eagles Cosplay Pack — shipped on May 29, 2025, alongside a Quality of Life update that added gameplay features and a large batch of bug fixes. All 18 DLC items in the store listing are marked as released, with none listed as upcoming. Since May 2025, the developer's communications have been entirely focused on Golf With Your Friends 2 — a full sequel in development at Radical Forge. News posts from July 15, 2025 (announcing the sequel's full-release plan for 2026), August 19, 2025 (first course reveal), December 16, 2025, April 23, 2026, and May 21, 2026 all concern the sequel exclusively. No new content, updates, or announcements have been made for the original game after May 29, 2025. With all DLC shipped, no new content announced for the original game, and the developer publicly committed to delivering a sequel rather than further expanding the original, Golf With Your Friends appears complete as of the May 29, 2025 update.

Evidence

Developer announces Golf With Your Friends 2 will launch as a full release in 2026, with all subsequent communications focused entirely on the sequel.
