Golf It!

Golf It! launched as version 1.0 on August 18, 2023 after roughly six years in Early Access. At that time, the developer stated "it's not over yet — we're already working on our next update," and they have delivered consistently on that promise. The game received its largest post-launch update, Update 1.1, on December 5, 2024 — a major release that included a full audio overhaul, a visual rework of the Grassland map with 150+ new assets, a daily challenge system with an in-game shop and currency, new equippable putters, and a new swing mechanic. Feature patches continued through February 18, 2026 (Update 1.1.0.8), adding editor tools, item previews, and other improvements. On September 28, 2026 — today — Perfuse Entertainment released Golf It!'s first paid DLC: "Under Construction," a factory-themed course with new mechanics, exclusive cosmetics, and over 200 new editor assets. The accompanying developer post explicitly states: "Since 2017, we have been releasing free content updates, and we're not finished yet!" It also lists several editor objects (robot arms, physical cones, a power hammer, and a wrecking ball) marked as "Coming Soon to Editor," confirming active work on additional content already in progress. The store description also references seasonal leaderboards that reset and reward players with exclusive gear, indicating ongoing live elements woven into the game's design. Across the full post-1.0 history, the developer has shipped one major update, multiple substantial feature patches, and now a paid DLC — all while explicitly affirming ongoing development. The studio has never suggested development is winding down.
