Golf Around!

Golf Around! launched into full release on December 4, 2020 and received a solid run of post-launch content updates. The two major post-launch content drops were Update 1.1 (Castle 1 & 2, May 7, 2021) and Update 1.4 (Egypt map, powerups, emotes, and more, December 14, 2023), with a feature update (Cyberpunk map, September 18, 2021) and a model importer update (August 17, 2021) in between. After the December 2023 update, the only post-launch communication was a minor technical patch on June 5, 2024. The most significant recent development is a news post from April 2, 2026, in which the developer (Steve) announced a demo for Golf Around 2 — a full sequel with new maps, a new gameplay system, and a level progression system. The post explicitly directs players to the sequel's Steam page and its own Discord, and notes the demo is "available for a limited time." This signals that the developer's focus has moved to the sequel rather than the original game. There have been no announcements of new content for Golf Around! itself, and the gap since the last substantive update (December 14, 2023) now exceeds 18 months with no indication of further additions. The store description lists 10 built-in courses (180 holes), which matches all maps referenced across the game's update history. There are no unreleased DLC entries on the store. Taken together, the shift to a sequel and the absence of any announced content for the original game indicate that Golf Around! is content-complete as of the Egypt update on December 14, 2023.
