Mini Golf Arena entered Steam Early Access on April 21, 2018. In the years that followed, the developer shipped updates at an irregular pace: a major update in September 2018 that added an in-game Level Editor and new content, feature patches in April 2018 and March 2019, and engine/bug fix updates through August 2020 and December 2021. The game has never left Early Access or reached a 1.0 release. The last official communication from Evoluta Studio was a bug fix patch on December 14, 2021 — a silence of over four and a half years as of today. The developer has not published a roadmap, announced a 1.0 target date, or made any statement about the future of the game. The store description still presents the game as an Early Access title in progress, but no development activity has been visible since late 2021. Given the extended silence and the absence of any stated completion plans or future content commitments, there is real uncertainty about whether active development is continuing.
