After You is a self-contained narrative puzzle game developed by a single developer. It launched on October 1, 2020 and received several bug fix patches in the weeks following release. A feature update adding achievements and lighting improvements followed on March 15, 2021. The most significant post-launch work was a remaster released on January 27, 2022, which overhauled the visuals, lighting, vegetation, sounds, and added controller support — essentially a polished re-release of the same content. Since that January 2022 remaster, there have been no further developer communications of any kind. The store description presents the game as a complete three-chapter experience with no mention of planned expansions, additional chapters, or future content. No DLC has ever been listed. The game was clearly built and shipped as a finished product, and the remaster represents the final significant update to it.
