Evaluation

Algo Bot launched on February 14, 2018 as a self-contained puzzle game with over 40 levels across 5 environments. Following launch, Fishing Cactus shipped a small series of patches through March 21, 2018 — adding Mac/Linux support, keyboard controls, Japanese localization, and various bug fixes. The only DLC ever released is the Original Soundtrack, which came out two days after launch on February 16, 2018. No expansions, new level packs, or additional content have ever been announced or released. The most recent developer communication on record is a March 19, 2020 post about working from home during the COVID-19 pandemic — a general studio update unrelated to any planned Algo Bot content. There are no unreleased DLC entries, no outstanding commitments, and no developer statements suggesting further content is planned. The game launched as a complete, story-driven puzzle experience and has been content-complete since its post-launch patch cycle concluded in March 2018.

About this game

Deep inside the Europa, a pan-galactic colonization ship, the sleeping crew dreams about their new life on the far side of the galaxy.

But there can be no rest for Algo Bot, a service droid working on the junk deck. When a routine recycling mission with cantankerous line manager PAL goes horribly wrong, crisis strikes at the very heart of the Europa.

Unless PAL and Algo Bot can restore the Europa's systems and recover the shipboard AI quickly, there'll be no waking up for anyone.

As the player, you will take the role of the operator and use a visual programming language to issue a sequence of commands to Algo Bot. Will you manage to solve all the puzzles?
