Aliens: Dark Descent launched on June 19, 2023 as a complete, story-driven single-player game. In the months following launch, Tindalos Interactive released several patches addressing bugs and quality-of-life improvements, then delivered one meaningful free content addition: a New Game+ mode on October 26, 2023, which added a harder replay mode, new difficulty modifiers, and a raised marine level cap. The only DLC — the Lethe Recon Pack — was a pre-order bonus that released on launch day.
There are no unreleased DLC entries on the store, no announced future content, no roadmap, and no developer statements indicating more updates are planned. The most recent developer communication of any kind was on April 7, 2026, when Tindalos announced Steam Deck compatibility — a platform support update, not a content release or signal of ongoing development.
