Almost My Floor: Prologue

Almost My Floor: Prologue is a free standalone prologue chapter released on October 5, 2020. It was always designed as a self-contained introduction — a first chapter offering about 40 minutes of gameplay — to serve as a preview for the full game "Almost My Floor," which was subsequently released in August 2021. The prologue itself has a fixed, finite scope by design: three locations and a single chapter of story content. The developer's post-2021 communications are focused entirely on a sequel ("Almost My Floor: Duality"), not on any additional content for this prologue. Posts from 2022 through July 2023 show the studio actively developing the sequel, with progress updates on backgrounds, story, character redesigns, and a comic book DLC planned for the sequel. None of these updates announce or imply any new content coming to the prologue itself. The prologue launched as a complete, intentionally limited product. Its store description still describes it as "the first chapter," but that framing is intrinsic to what it is — a teaser for the full game, which has since released. There are no unreleased DLC entries, no announced updates, and no developer statements suggesting the prologue will receive additional content. The last developer communication of any kind dates to July 29, 2023, with no posts since then.
