Alpacapaca Dash

Alpacapaca Dash launched on January 23, 2017 as a finished endless runner and received a handful of post-launch patches in its first year covering bug fixes, new modes, controller support, and additional enemies. A localization update followed in April 2018. After a quiet period, the developer returned in March 2020 with a substantial technical overhaul — rewriting the game in the Godot engine and fixing a wide range of long-standing issues — followed immediately by a small balance and bug-fix patch on March 27, 2020. Since March 2020, there have been no further updates to Alpacapaca Dash itself. The developer's June and July 2023 posts confirm they were away from game development due to personal reasons for an extended period, and their return was to launch a new game (Magical Girl Dash) rather than to continue work on Alpacapaca Dash. No future content for Alpacapaca Dash has been announced, no unreleased DLC is listed, and the developer has not signalled any intention to revisit the game. The last meaningful update shipped on March 27, 2020, and the game appears to have reached its final state at that point.
