AMID EVIL

AMID EVIL launched out of Early Access on June 20, 2019 and has since received all of its post-launch content. The game's content journey unfolded in several stages: a VR version launched on April 20, 2023, followed by the paid expansion The Black Labyrinth on August 18, 2023 — which the developer described at the time as marking "the end of a nearly six year journey." On February 22, 2024, the developer published a post explicitly titled "The Final Update," looking back on the full arc of the game from its reveal through Early Access, the 1.0 launch, VR, and The Black Labyrinth. This final update added a Hordes of Evil Endless Arena to The Black Labyrinth and concluded with the message: "You may rest now, Champions. THE UNIVERSE AWAITS." This is an unambiguous developer statement that development is complete. All four DLC items listed on the store are released, and no unreleased content has been announced. The developer has made no communications indicating future content since February 22, 2024.
