Angel Wings

Angel Wings launched as a free-to-play visual novel on January 29, 2021. Following launch, the developer (RumR Design) shipped several patches and feature updates, including the v1.1 Skip Mode update on March 16, 2021. In October 2021, the team teased a follow-up project, and on October 31, 2022, they formally announced Angel Wings: Endless Night as a spin-off sequel. That sequel released on November 7, 2024, and was described as a separate standalone title on its own Steam page rather than additional content added to Angel Wings itself. The November 7, 2024 news post announcing Endless Night's release is the most recent developer communication for the original Angel Wings. No new content additions to the base game have been announced or implied since then. The store description makes no mention of planned future updates or additional content for the original game. The developer's post-launch attention has clearly shifted to the new spin-off, and there are no outstanding commitments for the base Angel Wings title. The game launched as a complete narrative experience and the developer has not signaled any further additions to it. November 7, 2024 represents the point at which RumR Design's post-launch engagement with the original game effectively concluded, having fulfilled the teased "next addition" with Endless Night's release.
