Anglerfish launched on November 10, 2022 with a clear post-launch content plan: two additional free playthrough modes to be delivered over the following 10 weeks. The developer delivered on this roadmap. Part 2 shipped on December 15, 2022, roughly doubling the size of the game. Part 3 ("The Way of the Chicken") followed on January 20, 2023, completing the planned roadmap. On March 8, 2023, the developer published a post explicitly titled "One last half-big update," describing it as the final update before moving on to their next project. In that same post, they confirmed they had already started work on a new game. This is a clear developer statement that content development on Anglerfish is complete. An April 19, 2024 announcement confirmed that next game as "Security: The Horrible Nights," further reinforcing that the studio has fully moved on. The only DLC available is the soundtrack, which released on November 22, 2022. No unreleased DLC exists, and no future Anglerfish content has been announced or hinted at since the March 2023 farewell post.

You will try to survive your wildest night ever. To do this you must undercover the secrets hidden deep down in Anglerfish’s core by exploring every nook and cranny and solve the buried mysteries. But disturbing forcers will try to keep you from the truth, so you must be ready to fight back by blasting their heads off.
