Anno 2070 launched on November 17, 2011 and received a series of DLC packs through 2012. The final piece of paid content was the Deep Ocean expansion, which released on October 4, 2012. All 10 DLC items in the store listing are marked as released, with nothing unshipped. After Deep Ocean, developer communication went quiet on this title for nearly a decade.
In August 2022, Blue Byte issued a notable update (Update 3.0) that restored online services for the game — bringing back World Events, multiplayer, council elections, and savegame compatibility. A minor bug-fix patch followed in November 2022. However, these were service restoration and maintenance patches, not new content releases.
The most recent developer news item associated with this title (June 2025) is a promotional announcement for Anno 117: Pax Romana, a separate game in the Anno franchise — not new content for Anno 2070 itself.
There are no unreleased DLC items, no developer statements promising future content for Anno 2070, and no sustained post-launch content cadence beyond 2012.
