Anomaly Collapse launched on April 11, 2024 and has received consistent updates from RocketPunch Games since then. Two major content additions have shipped post-launch: The Sewer chapter on August 30, 2024 (a substantial new chapter with 18 new enemies, 38 new abnormalities, new events, and environmental units), and the free Constans character DLC on July 17, 2025 (a new playable character with exclusive skills, traits, and abnormalities, plus the new Character Chronicles system). These two releases establish an update cadence of roughly 10–11 months between major drops. In addition to these major updates, the developer has shipped multiple feature patches and bug fixes throughout the game's life, with the last confirmed developer communication on July 17, 2025. No developer statement has indicated that content development is concluded, and no future content has been explicitly announced. As of October 1, 2026, approximately 14 months have passed since the last major release — slightly beyond the established 10–11 month window, but not dramatically so. The absence of a developer statement declaring the game complete, combined with the sustained post-launch update history, keeps the game in an active development posture.
