Chrono Ark

Chrono Ark launched into its official 1.0 release on May 2–3, 2024, after four years in Early Access. At launch, the developer released the Summer Twilight DLC simultaneously and shared future update plans, noting a new boss, new relics, and equipment were still coming. Those plans were delivered: the High Roller DLC and version 1.1 arrived on October 31 – November 1, 2024, adding a new boss, skins, equipment, and relics. A further major update, version 1.2 (the "Fanatic Boss Update"), shipped on January 30, 2025, adding another new boss, a new quest, and balance changes. Both DLC items listed on the store are released. The developer has not announced any further DLC or expansions. The most recent developer communications are a feature patch on April 3, 2026, and a bug fix patch on April 8, 2026 — routine maintenance activity, not new content. The developer's attention has visibly shifted toward their next game, Deception Engine, which received a combat gameplay preview in October 2025 and is in active development. The September 2025 announcement of a Nintendo Switch version (releasing January 29, 2026) bundled all DLC and was framed as a complete package — consistent with the game having reached its final content state. No new content for the PC version has been teased or announced since the 1.2 update in January 2025. The developer's own words at launch ("Chrono Ark is now officially released… it's been a long journey") and the subsequent shift in studio focus to Deception Engine strongly suggest Chrono Ark's content development has concluded. The April 2026 patches represent maintenance support, not new content development.
