Anthro Heat launched on December 11, 2025 with 13 characters and 7 environments. Since then, Blue Lizard Studios has maintained a consistent and active update cadence: - January 13, 2026: The developer teased a new cowgirl character ("Summer") with a southern accent and specialized animations. - January 30, 2026: A major feature patch added Steam Workshop support and improved 2D posing tools. - March 12, 2026: Summer shipped as a full new playable character (version 1.2.0–1.2.3), fulfilling the January teaser. - April 18, 2026: A translation system supporting 10 languages was added (version 1.3.x). - June 25–26, 2026: Version 1.6.0–1.6.2.1 shipped with a full achievements system, controller navigation support, a new seasonal skin, and numerous fixes. The January 2026 cowgirl teaser was fulfilled by Summer's March 2026 release. No new unshipped content has been announced since then. However, the developer has shipped substantial updates every 4–8 weeks from launch through at least June 26, 2026 — the most recent developer communication on record. No statement about development concluding has been made.
