枝江往事

枝江往事 is a free-to-play visual novel created by a fan community (A-SOUL GameMaker Project) as a tribute to the five members of A-SOUL. The game launched on June 11, 2021, followed by a small bug-fix patch on June 12, 2021. That patch is the last recorded developer communication. The store description presents this as a complete, self-contained visual novel with a full story (approximately 150,000 characters of script), multiple branching paths, multiple endings, original music, CGs, and an original OP/ED — all already in the game at launch. There is no mention of planned additional content, DLC, or future updates. Only two developer posts exist across the game's entire history: the launch announcement and the day-after bug fix. No roadmap, no content plans, and no further developer activity of any kind have been recorded since June 2021. The game was built in about one month by over 100 volunteers and explicitly described as a finished gift to the group and their fans. All evidence points to this being a complete, shipped product with no post-launch content cycle ever intended or established.
