April Grove launched on June 23, 2025 as a peaceful forest management game by solo/indie developer Colorgrave. Shortly after launch, on July 11, 2025, the developer shipped a post-launch update adding auto-save, camping mechanics, a rental equipment system, a previously missing library, additional character dialogue, and new music tracks — all in response to community feedback. This represents the only post-launch update to the game. The only DLC available is the soundtrack, which was released on launch day. On December 16, 2025, Colorgrave announced their next game, Curse Chapter: Dawnthief, as a separate title continuing the story from previous Colorgrave games. There is no indication of further content planned for April Grove itself — the developer's attention has moved on to a new project, and no roadmap, upcoming DLC, or future update commitments have been communicated for April Grove since the July 2025 patch.
