AR-K: The Great Escape is Episode 3 in a planned four-episode point-and-click adventure series. The game released on July 14, 2015, and received minor bug-fix patches shortly after launch.
On June 21, 2018, the developer announced that the fourth and final episode of AR-K — plus remastered versions of Episodes 1 and 2 — would be released before the end of summer 2018. This was framed as the conclusion to the entire saga.
However, that deadline came and went without any follow-up. By October 25, 2018, the developer's posts on this store page were promoting a different, unrelated game (The Waylanders via a Kickstarter campaign). There have been no updates about the promised AR-K Episode 4 or the remasters since the June 2018 announcement — a period of nearly eight years as of today.
The developer appears to have moved on to other projects without delivering the content they committed to. The status of the final episode and remasters is unknown.
